After her "Darna" stint, nothing much has been heard about Jane de Leon. Not until the Metro Manila Film Festival entry 2024 (MMFF) "Strange Frequencies:Taiwan Killer Hospital where she is one of the main cast. This year, Jane is scheduled to do a teleserye on ABS-CBN.
"Alam ko na dumarami na ang naghahanap sa akin, a year na rin siguro after 'Darna'. Pero, yun, pagbabalik na rin ako sa telebisyon. Yung role medyo kakaiba kaya, yun na rin naman ang feeling ko, kasi laging strong independent woman ang role ko," the actress said.

The last brief relationship was with an actor while she was doing "Darna". Actor John Estrada is being linked to Barbie Imperial, her co-star in "FPJ's: Batang Quiapo". There were issues that Barbie and rumored boyfriend Richard Gutierrez had broken up.
In his social media account, John vehemently denied the speculations. "Unang--una hindi ko alam kung sino o saan nagsimula ang kalokohan na to, na naglilink sa amin ni Barbie Imperial." John said he doesn't now Barbie personally and saw her only once.
