Geelong’s season may have come to an end in disappointing fashion last weekend, but its Wacky Wednesday celebrations have put a typically joyful spin on things. The Cats, who were bowled out of this year’s finals series by Brisbane last Saturday, have again delivered with their post-season frivolities after Gryan ‘Lionel Messi’ Miers stole the show last year . Player arrivals began before 11am on Wednesday, with media and photographers at the ready to capture every head-turning outfit.

It is a reference to McClure’s incorrect prediction last year that the Eagles wouldn’t select Harley Reid.

Mark Blicavs played the role of Reid, donning an Eagles guernsey, while Max Holmes was dressed as Seven reporter Mitch Cleary — who co-hosts the Tradies podcast with McClure. Follow along as the Cats file in for their end-of-year shenanigans! MORE TO COME ..
