Recommended Videos Some Adidas fans are trashing the German apparel giant’s mashup with offbeat fashion brand AVAVAV after a new collection featuring its Superstar sneakers included detachable rubber toes called “Superfingers.” The $250 eyesores debuted at Milan Fashion Week as part of AVAVAV’s 2025 collection, the New York Post reported, and are meant to mimic barefoot shoes .
Adidas said the “Superfingers” are a nod to AVAVAV’s “four-finger motif” featured in the company’s logo, the Post added. “If you call this fashion, you need some therapy,” another commenter added. “Imagine being weird enough to buy this crap,” a third follower said. While AVAVAV creative director Beate Karlsson called the release a “longtime dream” of hers, the Post reported, she seemed to skewer the idea as well.
