Reports emerged on Thursday that basketball agent Rich quietly popped the question last wee k during a trip to Tottenham, London, The Sun claims. The location was said to be no coincidence, with Rich wanting to make his love known in Adele's hometown, amid claims she is preparing to move back to the UK.

Alan asked the crowd if anyone got married recently and Adele shouted 'I did'.

' Another audience member added of the 'small and intimate show: 'When he asked if anyone got married recently she yelled 'I did'. Super cute all around and was super sweet but dipped right before it ended.' They added: 'Adele was sitting right behind me with a friend having the best time.

Her security only came in to bring her snacks. 'She didn't care if people knew she was there. She was heckling him - they're best friends.

' Rich later addressed marriage rumours as he told how he and Adele have 'helped each other' during their two-year relationship. Appearing on CBS Mornings, Rich said of his partner: 'She's been great, I think she would agree that we definitely helped each other. 'I'm in a good space, we're in a good space.

Happy. She's superb. She's been great for me.

Despite months of rumours Adele and Rich Paul were already married, it's been claimed that the couple have in fact just got engaged (pictured in LA in 2022) Rich was then asked by CBS host Gayle King about the rumours he and Adele have tied the knot. The journalist asked whether she should refer to Adele as 'Mrs.

Paul' the next time she speaks to her. Richard played coy, saying: 'You can say whatever you want,' before adding he is not the 'type of person to put [his] personal life. It's not for the media.

' Adele called Rich her husband during her Las Vegas concert in September, sparking speculation that the two had tied the knot. The couple first went public with their relationship in July 2021 when they were seated courtside together at an NBA game. The Grammy winner has been wearing a pear-shaped diamond ring on her left ring finger for about a year.

In the past when asked about it, she commented that it wasn't an engagement ring, she simply likes high end jewellery. In his memoir, Lucky Me, Rich recalled growing up in Cleveland with crack addict mother, dealing drugs, and getting girl pregnant at 14. And even now the sports agent still flinches when he hears a loud noise due to the number of gunshots he heard growing up on the mean streets.

'I never had the chance to be a kid,' he writes in the book, which was released in October. 'Crack was so powerful it decimated my mother's love and expedited my adolescence. I had to grow from a cub to a young wolf right away.

' Paul grew up in the Glenville area on Cleveland's East Side. His parents weren't married and his father Rich Paul Sr. was the stabilizing influence as his mother – who he refers to as 'Peaches' was so drug-addled.

It has been reported that despite splashing out a lavish new mansion in the US the singer plans to move back to the UK once her Las Vegas residency is over Adele bought Sylvester Stallone's eight-bedroom, 12-bathroom home, saddling her with a colossal $37.7million mortgage, but it is being completely rebuilt Before Rich became one of the most powerful sports agents representing NBA stars Anthony Davis (pictured) and LeBron James, he was making a living selling drugs in Cleveland Paul, pictured with former and current clients, Ben Simmons, Tristan Thompson, John Wall, and LeBron James in 2018, is the founder of agency Klutch Sports His father even once threatened to shoot him 'like Marvin Gaye's father did' if he kept flunking at school after his GPA slipped to 1.4.

Paul Sr said: 'You keep this up I'm gonna take you out of this world, man. I'm telling you what's going to happen. And I'm not gonna do a day in jail for it.

You keep disrespecting me, I'm gonna show you what disrespect gets you. I'll show you what disrespect is about,' he reveals. And the father's threat worked, Paul says.

'That moment changed the trajectory of my life,' he writes. His grade average soon went back up and never again went below 3.6.

Lucky Me: A Memoir of Changing the Odds, released October 10, includes a foreword by LeBron James Paul got another shock at the age of 14 when a girl told him midway through a basketball game that he got her friend pregnant. While the girl had an abortion, it caused Paul to reflect on what he learned about sex growing up. He writes: 'I learned a lot of valuable things but healthy sexual habits were not one of them.

'Almost everything my friends and I learned about sex was wrong. We thought that the more girls you had sex with, the more status you had..

.it was like a sickness. 'We were buying them everything, giving them five and six hundred dollars a time.

I spent so much at McDonald's they might have run out of Chicken McNuggets. 'All we were doing was setting up a toxic dynamic that for some of us has lasted a lifetime – we saw sex as transactional or a way to show off our status, instead of as an act rooted in love and commitment'. Paul is now estimated to be worth $120million and is currently shacked up in a $58million mega mansion in Beverly Hills with Adele, who he started dating in 2021.
