Prime Video has given the thumbs up to a new romance drama set in university, drawing from a bestseller's pages. Renowned romance author Elle Kennedy is already connected to Netflix's Bridgerton fame, as its mastermind Chris Van Dusen opts to transform another of her books, Girl Abroad, to the small screen. Amazon's own screening platform has now greenlit the adaptation of her hugely popular Off Campus book series.
The show's first run will bring to life Kennedy's 2015 hit The Deal, eyeing potential development into her other four installments. Additionally, Off Campus has been expanded into four extra spin-off novels, the Briar U series, which might nab screen time if season one secures fans' hearts, reports the Express .
