It is a slippery slope we should avoid.
Sutcliffe says hate crimes against Jews, Muslims and members of the LGBTQ+ have risen to unacceptable levels in the city, and the time has come to fight back. “No one should be threatened or intimidated when attending their place of worship, school community centre or any other gathering,” Sutcliffe posted on the social media site X .
