The 58-year-old has been a presenter on the BBC programme since 2001, but is also an avid farmer. Adam's father, Joe, set up the Cotswold Farm Park, the first domestic rare breeds farm open to the public, in 1971.
Adam took over running the farm and shares regular updates about the countryside destination on social media. In a post shared on Instagram , Adam revealed The Sunflower Festival at the farm park is now open to the public until the end of August. Alongside a selection of images of sunflowers, the message began: "The news you've all been waiting for.

"It’s no exaggeration to say he taught me virtually all I know about farming and television." Adam has kept his father's legacy alive since his passing, adding: "Today I run the farm that Dad nurtured for nearly 40 years and its centrepiece remains the farm park. I’ve also been lucky enough to follow him into television.
But my little footsteps will never fill his great big ones.".
