Many artists also expressed their views on this. Famous actor and director Pravin Tarde reacted to this, which has been widely discussed and is garnering everyone’s attention. Meanwhile, in a recent interview, Pravin Tarde said, “Our Marathi language was already classical, but now the status of classical language has been given by the central government.
I welcome this decision taken by the central government. Now the Marathi language will get the status of elite, and now besides this, it is elite; the appreciation here is also elite.” He further said, “The Marathi language has now got the elite status.
Saints have done a lot of work for the Marathi language. Marathi is the saint tradition. Annabhau Sathe’s literature is in Marathi.
So even if you want to give insults, give them in Marathi. They are classy. So now everyone knows from this day.
