Monday, September 9, 2024 Accor, a prominent global player in the hospitality sector, is excited to announce the strategic appointments of two experienced leaders to spearhead its esteemed Premium, Midscale, and Economy (PM&E) brands. These crucial Global Brand President roles emphasize the company’s commitment to strengthening its brand presence and advancing its market leadership within its diverse and distinguished portfolio. Benoît Racle Named Global Brand President – Premium Benoît Racle has joined Accor as the Global Brand President for its Premium brands, bringing more than 20 years of expertise in hospitality, brand leadership, global operations, marketing, and commercial initiatives.

With a career shaped by leadership roles at Starwood and W Hotels, where he successfully led brand transformations and drove operational success, Racle is now set to steer the strategic direction of Accor’s prestigious Premium brands. His focus will be on delivering exceptional guest experiences and driving brand growth. In 2023, Accor’s Premium brand signings tripled compared to 2019, underscoring its strategic importance.



Pullman, Accor’s flagship Premium brand with over 150 years of legacy, operates 155 hotels in 42 countries with 65 more in development. Swissôtel is poised to double its portfolio, with 35 hotels currently operating and 40 in progress. Mövenpick, with its 120 hotels, is rapidly expanding with 80 more in the pipeline.

Jean-Yves Minet Appointed Global Brand President – Midscale & Economy Jean-Yves Minet has been appointed as the Global Brand President for Accor’s Midscale & Economy brands. With over 25 years of experience in brand development and operational leadership, Minet’s background in the beauty industry gave him vast experience in high-growth sectors, distribution, and emerging markets. In his new position, Minet will focus on advancing the growth and positioning of Accor’s economy and midscale brands, catering to a broad spectrum of global travelers.
