Thursday, November 7, 2024 Acai Travel secures €3.7 million in Seed funding to revolutionize travel operations with AI, enhancing efficiency and transforming agent experiences. Acai Travel, an innovative software platform based in Spain, is set to reshape travel operations through artificial intelligence, having successfully completed a €3.

7 million Seed funding round. The funding was led by Nauta, with additional support from DraperB1 and existing investor One Travel Ventures. Founded in 2023 by industry veterans Riccardo Vittoria and Henry Chen Weinstein, Acai Travel builds upon the foundation of their previous venture, 30SecondsToFly, which was acquired by American Express Global Business Travel.



The founders are focused on tackling the inefficiencies in travel operations that have emerged in the wake of industry changes and a surge in demand following the pandemic. The Acai Travel platform is equipped with a variety of tools specifically designed for travel agents, including AI Helpers that manage policy details, a GDS Overlay for simplifying complex travel data, AI Translation for enhanced communication, and Intelligent Routing to connect travellers with the right agents. Collectively, these solutions aim to cut costs for large agencies by up to 50% while preserving or enhancing customer service quality.
