Recently, Bollywood actor Abhishek Banerjee, who starred in the blockbuster Stree 2 , admitted that he paid PRs to circulate positive articles about him but he also received praise organically as fans loved his performance. Banerjee made this admission while talking about the drawbacks of PR activity. In a new interview with iDiva, while speaking about the problems of PR, Banerjee said, “Problem yeh hai PR ki ki agar organic news bhi aayegi, toh bhi logo ko lagta hai ki PR hai.
Kisi ne accha likh diya tumhare baare mein and you’re feeling good ki organically aaya hai. But then everybody will think, ‘Oh isne PR karaya hai.’ That’s a drawback.

But voh organic PR bhi logo ko paid PR lagti hai,” Banerjee added. The PR narrative around Stree 2 gained momentum when a ‘credit war’ broke out between Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao after the movie’s success. Back then, Banerjee said that the movie belongs to everyone.

Whenever something is successful, there will always be some negative points. Kuch toh negativity chahiye logo ko jisse wo baat karein, cheezon ko bada banaye. We don’t focus on these things.
” He then continued, “Jab humne shuru kiya tha, hume kisi ne nahi bola tha ki film iski hai ya uski hai. Jab humne film sign ki thi. Aapne khud hi dekha hoga bohot baar logo ne bola hai ki Jana ki entry pe log sabse zyada taaliyan bajate hain.
Itne bade stars ke beech main kya hai Jana? Yeh film ensemble cast ki film hai.
