Actors Ajay Devgn and Aamir Khan reunited on Saturday night, hinting at a possible sequel to their 1997 hit film Ishq . Fans were thrilled by the actors’ playful banter and shared memories, reigniting enthusiasm for the classic romantic comedy that has since become a beloved cult favourite. The two actors made this exciting revelation at the mahurat of Tera Yaar Hoon Main, the upcoming film marking the debut of Aman Kumar, the son of Ishq director Indra Kumar.

As they looked back on their experience working together, Devgn and Khan shared a hilarious story highlighting their offbeat chemistry and the fun atmosphere that permeated the Ishq set. The tale involved a memorable incident where a chimpanzee, part of the film's set, unexpectedly attacked Aamir Khan. In a light-hearted recounting, Khan said, “A chimpanzee attacked me once during a sequence in the film.

[Ajay] saved me and pulled me out.” The audience erupted in laughter as the actors continued with the story. According to Devgn, the incident was sparked by Khan’s mischievous actions.

“But it happened all because of Aamir,” Devgn said with a chuckle. “He was spraying water on the chimpanzee and then ran around, shouting ‘bachao bachao’ like a girl.” Ishq (1997) was directed by Indra Kumar and starred Devgn, Khan, along with Kajol and Juhi Chawla, in a humorous yet heartwarming tale that explored love and friendship amid comedic chaos and misunderstandings.
