The six-hour closure followed an earlier crash. A National Highways spokesperson reported at 10pm: " A14 in Cambridgeshire is closed westbound between J20 Ellington and J16 Catworth for specialist recovery following an earlier collision.
" In a statement at approximately 4am on Sunday (July 14), a spokesperson for National Highways said: "The A14 in Cambridgeshire has re-opened westbound between J20 Ellington and J16 Catworth following completion of specialist recovery from an earlier collision.
