What will the series be about? Netflix announced Aug. 21 that it's set to begin production on a docuseries starring Victoria Beckham. The series will focus on the successful beauty and fashion business the "Wannabe" singer built after scoring global superstardom in the 1990s with the Spice Girls.
“Through an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at Victoria’s business, access to Victoria, her family, those closest to her and her fashion journey and including never-before-seen archive, the series will tell the story of Victoria’s reinvention as a Creative Director of her own brand,” Netflix explained. Who is producing the series? The series' executive producers include Emmy nominee Nicola Howson, who also produced "Beckham," and BAFTA nominee Julia Nottingham, whose credits include "Pamela: A Love Story" and "The Greatest Night in Pop." David Beckham’s production company, Studio 99, which also produced "Beckham," will produce the series with Dorothy St Pictures.
