Laura Hamilton is soaking up the rays in 'A Place in the Sun'. Enjoying a lavish getaway in Montenegro, the TV presenter has been showing off her stunning vacation spot on social media. It was just revealed that the Channel 4 star is seeing married CEO James Pettigrew, 44, after her split from husband Alex Goward.
After nine years married, the pair went their separate ways and she's thought to have been dating Goward since January. Now the two appear to have gone away together to "the most beautiful place", per Hamilton's sun-kissed snaps shared on her Instagram . Staying at the five-star Heritage Grand Perast Hotel, pictures show Laura relaxing on the beach and enjoying an al fresco dinner, and it's thought Goward took the images.
Insiders say he's been "spending all his time" with Laura since they were first linked this year. Sources say their relationship "upset" James' estranged wife Jackie amid their official divorce. James shares two kids with his ex and was first pictured with Laura at the Scottish FA Cup Final in May.
"Laura has been dating James since January and they spend all their time together," an insider spilled to MailOnline. "While Laura has been single since splitting from her ex-husband, James is still married, and their relationship has caused his estranged wife Jackie a lot of hurt and upset. She was unaware of their romance in the early days and is now going through a painful divorce, with her priority being to protect her two daughters.
Laura and James have made every attempt to keep their relationship private but it's been months and they're so close now, they are fully committed to each other and making this work longterm," they concluded. Laura previously said she would be open to marrying again after her painful separation. She declared she would never wed again following her separation from her husband Alex in 2022 after 13 years together.
"I feel very differently about it now," she told the Mirror . "Not that I necessarily believe that you need to be married to somebody for it to cement a relationship but I would be open to it." But the mum of two – who ran the London Marathon – added: "100% no more children.
" Laura, left, admits dating isn't easy: "I've been on a few dates and I'm just enjoying myself. I'm not desperate to meet somebody. "I only want it to happen when it's right.
I'm not on any dating apps but if I meet people just through my normal life then so be it. That's definitely a thing for me, like meeting somebody that doesn't just see you as Laura off A Place in the Sun but that just sees you as Laura." Mirror Online has reached out to Laura's reps for comment.
