Singapore Airlines takes delivery of its final Airbus A350 with 2013 Business Class seats, marking the end of an era before upcoming cabin upgrades in 2026. Singapore Airlines has officially received its last Airbus A350 aircraft with the carrier’s 2013 Business Class seats, marking the end of an era as it prepares for a new phase of cabin upgrades.

The aircraft, 9V-SJI, symbolizes both a transition in product offerings and the patience of its loyal customers as the airline prepares for a major shift in its long-haul business class cabins. The journey of Singapore Airlines’ Airbus A350 fleet began in March 2016 when it took delivery of the 26th A350 globally, a milestone that made the airline a significant player in the wide-body aircraft market. Fast forward to today, Singapore Airlines proudly holds the title of the world’s largest operator of Airbus A350s, with 65 aircraft in its fleet, cementing its leadership in long-haul aviation.

The arrival of 9V-SJI marks a critical juncture as it becomes the final new Airbus A350 delivered to the airline for the foreseeable future. It is the 697th A350 produced by Airbus, making it a significant addition to the fleet. This aircraft will soon be stationed at Changi Airport, where it will serve as the last long-haul aircraft the airline will receive.
