Randy and Susan Norris of Hoover have balanced their Alabama-Auburn rivalry throughout 27 years of marriage. "We met in 1995 when Randy preached a one-night revival at my home church," Susan said. "I got her phone number, and we set up to meet," Randy said.

Randy and Susan hit it off so well that they forgot to discuss some important details on their first date. "I got home, and my mom asked, 'How was your date?' And I said, 'It's fantastic. She was awesome.

Randy and Susan tested their differences early in their marriage. Within months of their wedding, they attended their first Iron Bowl as husband and wife in 1997, a tough year for Alabama fans. "And we lost.

And it was one point," Randy said. "It was great. We rolled Toomer's Corner," Susan said.

"No, you rolled Toomer's Corner," Randy said, correcting her. "Yes, but he let me roll Toomer's.
