George on Wednesday afternoon when some 150 members of the legal community gathered in the Richmond County Courthouse to recognize the distinguished heritage, culture and contributions of Americans with Italian lineage. It’s a highly anticipated annual occurrence that acknowledges the esteemed accomplishments and successes of Italian immigrants from the “old country” who comprise the fifth largest ethnic group in the United States. It’s a given that Italy’s rich history, artistic design, classic architecture and age-old traditions have been preserved throughout the world in countless ways.
And they’ve been noted in everything from classic design and contemporary fashion to fine furniture, and even exoti.
