Prayagraj: To make the ticket distribution system more convenient for passengers, payment through digital means has been made available at 79 ticket counters of Prayagraj Division , including all unreserved ticket counters at Prayagraj Junction . Now, passengers will be able to make their journey pleasant by paying through QR code and getting tickets easily. This facility was first started in Prayagraj Division at an unreserved ticket counter on July 26 this year at Prayagraj Junction.
Under Prayagraj Division, the facility of payment by QR code has been made available at five reserved ticket counters at Prayagraj Junction, three at Kanpur Central, two at Aligarh Junction, and one each at Mirzapur, Etawah, Tundla Junction, Fatehpur, Kanpur Anwarganj, and Naini Junction. Apart from this, the facility has been activated at nine counters at Prayagraj Junction, seven at Kanpur Central, five at Aligarh Junction, three at Prayagraj Chheoki, and two each at Fatehpur, Kanpur Anwarganj, Khurja, Phaphund, Tundla, Dadri, Mirzapur, Vindhyachal, and Shikohabad. Additionally, one counter at stations including Govindpuri, Chunar, Etawah, Jhinjhak, Pankidham, Manikpur, Hathras, Sirathu, Naini, Narayanpur Bazar, Pahada, Kailahat, Jeevanathpur, Gaipura, Birohi, Bhirpur, Jigana, Karchana, Dagmagpur, Unchadih, and Jhingra will also have QR code payment facility.
