Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin inaugurated amenities at seven tourist destinations across the state to provide enhanced facilities to tourists. The upgrade is part of recent infrastructure development projects carried out by the Tamil Nadu Tourism Department, worth Rs 27.34 crore.
The locations benefiting from the improvements include Hogenakkal Waterfalls, Kolli Hills, Andipalayam Lake, Vatthalmalai, Muttom Beach, Anthiyur Lake, and the Haridranathi Temple Tank in Mannargudi. The renovations include the installation of entrance arches, public restrooms, ticketing counters, dining areas, a boathouse, scenic viewpoints, bathing ghats, changing rooms, landscaping, parking lot upgrades, reception areas, walkways, adventure sports facilities, a children's play zone, and the addition of surveillance cameras, according to an official statement. Additionally, the Chief Minister virtually launched 17 newly constructed sub-registrar office buildings, with a combined investment of Rs 30.
