Roadworks look set to cause disruption for drivers in Suffolk once again this week. Here is where to avoid on your journey around the county. Norman Crescent in Ipswich will be closed from Monday owing to works by Cadent.

The company is replacing pipes in the area, according to one.network. Closures will be in place until August 2.



Britannia Road in Ipswich will be shut between Monday and Wednesday due to works by Anglian Water. A diversion is set to be in place while works are carried out. Part of Norwich Road in Ipswich will be closed between Wednesday and Friday as a result of works by Suffolk County Council.

The overnight work will take place between 8pm and 6am. A five-month closure in Stowlangtoft will start on Monday. Suffolk Highways will shut the carriageway between The Street and Sandy Lane while they replace a bridge.

The road is due to reopen on December 20. Chapel Road in Ousden will be shut between Wednesday and Friday as a result of works by Suffolk County Council. The carriageway will be closed between 8am and 4pm each day.

Overnight works in Moor Hall Road in Stoke by Clare will start on Monday. Suffolk County Council is carrying out carriageway patching and surface dressing in the area. Closure will be in place between 7pm and 6am.

Bolton Street in Lavenham is to close for 11 days from Monday while Gigaclear completes work in the area. A diversion route will be in place..
