There is no indication (yet) that JFK will see it again. For the first time since 2020, Qantas will operate three A380 routes. Sydney to Dallas/Fort Worth flights will return on August 11 .
The 485-seat A380 will operate four weekly, while the 236-seat 787-9—currently used—will fly on the other three days. Australia's flag carrier previously flew the A380 from Sydney to Dallas/Fort Worth between September 2014 and April 2020 entirely because of the opportunities from partner American Airlines at its busiest .
