According to data from Cirium , an aviation analytics firm, there are 1,074 Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner flights to and from the United States in December. These flights are operated by five airlines: British Airways EVA Air KLM Korean Air United Airlines United has the largest market share of the 787-10 flights, with 950 of the 1,704. British Airways has the second-highest number of flights, with 392.

1 Chicago - Tokyo Haneda 6,036 miles The longest 787-10 route is from United’s biggest hub, Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD). From Chicago, United deploys the largest variant of the 787-10 daily to Haneda Airport (HND) in Tokyo. The flight is 6,306 miles, more than 200 miles longer than the second-longest flight.

Two other airlines fly the same route, Japan Airlines and ANA, but each has a smaller capacity than United. Japan Airlines (JAL) uses its Boeing 777-300ERs (77W), which although larger than the Boeing 787-10, are configured with fewer seats.

JAL’s 77Ws have 244 seats in four cabins: eight in first class, 49 in business, 40 in premium economy, and 147 in economy. ANA also uses the 77W, which has 32 fewer seats than JAL’s. ANA’s 77Ws have eight first class seats, 64 business class seats, 24 in premium ec.
