P Diddy has been mercilessly mocked by 50 Cent after the FBI reportedly seized 1,000 bottles of lube in his arrest. The 54-year-old rapper, real name Sean Combs , has been jailed after he was denied bail following his sex trafficking charges after his arrest in New York on Monday evening. According to court documents obtained by The Mirror , Diddy allegedly "used force, threats of fore, and coercion, to cause victims to engage in extended sex acts with male commercial sex workers that Combs referred to as, among other things, 'Freak Offs.
'" Authorities claim they found supplies for the alleged Freak Offs in the rapper's home, which allegedly included "narcotics and more than 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant." Diddy has vehemently denied all allegations made against him. 50 Cent, who shot to fame with his debut offering In Da Club in 2003, is no fan of Diddy's since he faced a string of sexual assault lawsuits starting in November, and regularly ribs him on social media.
Following the news of his Combs' jail time, he's slammed the rapper again - all while promoting his brand, G Unit. Taking to X, formerly Twitter , Fiddy, real name Curtis Jackson, posted a snap of himself and talk show host, Drew Barrymore, with the caption: "Here I am keeping good company with @DrewBarrymoreTV and I don’t have 1,000 bottles of lube at the house." Fans appeared to love the star's swipe at the Bad Boy mogul, with many telling the G Unit star he was "too funny".
Someone who is most certainly not laughing following his arrest, however, is Diddy. The Missing You star will be housed in pretrial detention at the Metropolitan Detention Center in New York after being denied bail following his sex trafficking charges. Diddy pleaded not guilty to racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking charges on Tuesday, with his lawyers offering $50million (£38m) for bail and in-home detention.
However, Judge Tarnofsky ordered that the multi-millionaire be ‘detained’ in a jail, described as 'hell on earth'. The MDC holds around 1,600 inmates, all but a few dozen awaiting trial. It has been New York City’s primary federal detention centre since 2021, when the Bureau of Prisons closed Manhattan’s Metropolitan Correctional Center—where disgraced financier, Jeffrey Epstein , died—over the appalling conditions inside.
Straddling the East River, the facility in Brooklyn, which previously housed fellow disgraced rapper, R.Kelly - has similarly been plagued by reports of constant lockdowns, outbreaks of violence and a rash of stabbings. Combs’ lawyers acknowledged as much in a motion for bail filed earlier on Tuesday, noting that 'several courts in this District have recognized that the conditions at Metropolitan Detention Center are not fit for pre-trial detention'.
