SUVs have been getting more and more popular in the Indian market. Here are 5 upcoming SUVs that are going to be game changer for our roads. India is in love with SUVs and both local and international manufacturers are going to be doing their best to capture this market.

There are some game changing SUVs that are going to make their debut soon in the Indian market and they will range from small micro-SUVs to large luxury barges. There has been an increasing popularity in the adoption of electric vehicles as well and there are some really cool EVs in the works too. Here are 5 of the most game changing SUV going to be launched in the Indian market soon: 1: Skoda Kodiaq The Skoda Kodiaq has been already updated in the international market and a new version is highly anticipated in the Indian market to take on the premium SUV segment.

The Kodiaq has always been one of the most practical, feature loaded and capable SUVs in the segment. It will most likely be powered by a 2.0L EA888 TSI engine which has been powering the current generation car but we also do expect Skoda to re-enter the market with a diesel engine as well to give people who have very high running an option to have a more efficient vehicle.

The new generation Kodiaq will make its debut next year in the Indian market. 2: Hyundai Creta EV The Hyundai Creta is one of the most poplar compact SUVs in the Indian market and an EV version of the vehicle will surely be a hit between the fans. Currently, the highest selling EVs in the market are from Tata and the Hyundai Creta EV will surely make a for a more reliable and better finished vehicle.

There are not many options in the EV space in this price segment which could possibly make it a great vehicle for those who want to hop on early on the EV bandwagon without much fuss. 3: Kia Clavis The Kia Clavis has been spied testing quite a few times on Indian roads. It will be based on the Hyundai Exter offering a lot of features and a new SUV in a new market segment which currently only consists of the Hyundai Exter and the Tata Punch.

We expect the Clavis to have the same 1.2L NA petrol engine from the Exter but there could possibly be a 1.0L turbo petrol as well on offer.

4: Maruti Suzuki eVX The Maruti Suzuki eVX is going to be the first SUV from the Japanese manufacturer and will change the game completely. We expect it to be as large as the Grand Vitara, have a 60 kWh battery pack and also have an estimated range of around 500 kms. It is also going to be debut in the Indian market first before anywhere else so we can expect good things from this model.

5: Kia EV9 The Kia EV9 will be launched on October 3, 2024, which is quite close. It will compete in the ultra luxury EV segment and we expect it to be priced near to Rs 1 crore (ex-showroom), but there is no competition for the vehicle as there are only a few full size 7-seater SUVs in the Indian market. The EV9 will have an estimated range of around 490 kms.
