The Detroit Lions and Seattle Seahawks released their final injury reports of the week ahead of their "Monday Night Football" contest and a total of two players are listed as questionable and another five have been ruled out between the two teams. The Lions will be without starting center Frank Ragnow, who is dealing with a partially torn pectoral muscle . Head coach Dan Campbell announced earlier in the week that Ragnow would be out, but the good news is the team doesn't plan on placing him on injured reserve at this time.
As far as how the Lions will replace Ragnow is concerned, quarterback Jared Goff may have spilled the beans on part of the plan when he praised left guard Graham Glasgow's ability to play center. “Yeah, he’s the Swiss army knife,” Goff said of Glasgow . “He can kind of do it all.
He’s played right guard, he’s played left guard this year, and now he’s playing center and it’s a luxury for us to have him, for sure.” Assuming Glasgow does play center, the Lions will have either Michael Niese or Kayode Awosika to play left guard. We would guess the Lions will go with Awosika's experience.
The Seahawks are extremely banged-up on defense, as four key players have been ruled out and another one is questionable out of the whopping 19 players that were listed on this week's injury report.
