We largely have Bella Hadid to thank for the vintage fashion boom we’ve enjoyed in recent years. Way before the current trend for all things pre-loved took off, the model was wearing second-hand graphic band tees and colourful racer jackets alongside rare pieces from the likes of Chanel, Jean Paul Gaultier and Vivienne Westwood. Her extensive bag collection , too, has long been the envy of vintage enthusiasts everywhere, spanning from rare Dior saddle bags to the quilted Chanel Medallion tote that’s been a constant on her arm.

Although we’ve seen a clear style shift from Hadid since her return to the public eye (she took a year-long hiatus to recover from a Lyme disease flare-up), it seems that her love of vintage is going nowhere. While promoting her beauty brand Orebella in May, she was spotted in three archival looks in quick succession, including a printed Roberto Cavalli dress from spring/summer 2003 and a John Galliano for Dior slip dress from spring/summer 2004. Hadid continued her vintage streak while promoting her new fragrance, Nightcap, this month, wearing two archival John Galliano gowns, along with a dusky pink number from Zuhair Murad.

The supermodel has also taken her vintage obsession to the red carpet, including at Cannes Film Festival, where she’s worn an array of archival looks, from Tom Ford-era Gucci to ’90s Versace. Below, see Bella Hadid’s best vintage looks to date..
