Prayagraj: Four police teams have been constituted to work out the murder of brick kiln centre owner identified as Monu Singh, a resident of Parwatpur village. Monu Singh was allegedly shot at by a group of unknown assailants near his brick kiln centre in the Ramganj area under the limits of Jethwara police station on Sunday night. Doctors had referred him to MLN Medical College, Prayagraj for treatment.

Additional SP (West) Pratapgarh, Sanjay Rai, told reporters that Monu was allegedly shot at by a group of unidentified men near his brick kiln centre in the Ramganj area under the limits of Jethwara police station of Pratapgarh district on the night of August 4. He died during treatment at MLN Medical College in Prayagraj on Friday. Rai claimed that a monetary dispute was the reason behind the murder.
