3NDLES5 has laid out plans for new ‘Ballon d’Or’ EP. The Eora/Sydney-based artist works in a variety of disciplines, with the enigmatic figure developing a reputation as a key collaborator within the Australian underground. Snapped up by FADER label, 3NDLES5 will release his new ‘Ballon d’Or’ EP on October 30th.
The artist – real name Mitchell Tolman – introduces the EP with excellent new track ‘Embolo’. The shattered electronics and sub-low futurism remind you of those formative Boxed raves in East London, a space where instrumental grime was pushed to its limits. The whispered incantations ooze out of the speakers, with 3NDLES5 achieving something both revelatory and menacing.

. in your old area – look I did it, I made it! My idea of that is just transitioning into a civilian and being ok with that”. Constructed with contributions from Sus1er and Dog99, ‘Embolo’ is testament to 3NDLES5 ‘s emphatic creativity.
