But in late 2009, Woods' widely publicized cheating scandal broke, leading to their eventual divorce. Over a dozen women claimed to have had a relationship with Woods during his marriage, and Woods then checked into treatment for sex addiction, taking a break from his golfing career . He also lost a ton of sponsorships due to the affairs, though his career eventually recovered.

But then, in 2009, Kelis filed for divorce while pregnant with their child. Years later, in 2018, Kelis claimed that during their marriage, Nas would get black-out drunk and physically abuse her and that she would fight back. She also claimed that he cheated in the last two years of their marriage.
