By Nicholas Tan Entrepreneur Sara Blakely has introduced Sneex , a new brand of high heel sneakers, that she believes will revolutionize the women’s luxury shoe market . The founder of Spanx revealed the sneaker heels in mid-August, making them available for sale through its website, and the reaction to them on social media has ranged from excitement to disgust. However, a sit-down interview on CBS Mornings has many interested in what Sneex can bring to their wardrobe, especially after Blakely explained how this innovative shoe is less painful than wearing high heels.

Here are several ways Sneex shoes have been designed with comfort in mind. Blakely shares that Sneex has three notable advantages over regular high heels , both in the CBS Mornings segment and through a video on the shoe’s website . Blakely reveals that the process of producing and designing the shoe took about ten years, noting that many manufacturers weren’t set up to create hybrid footwear like Sneex.

She notes that the concept was turned down nine times by various factory owners before one was ready to take it on. On the matter of comfort, Hannah Jackson, a writer for Vogue , tried a pair of Sneex and stated that it was “generally more comfortable than some other heels [she] owns.” However, she criticized the brand for only having whole sizing available.

For those that do wear a half size, the brand recommends that customers order a size down according to the site’s FAQ . At launch, Sneex comes in three different styles with a slew of colors, priced between $395 and $595, which is generally out of reach for many customers. But in the CBS Morning segment, Blakely says they are “worth every penny.

” Each pair of Sneex, which is primarily made out of leather and suede, are handcrafted in Spain. Nick Tan is a SEO Lead Writer for GameRevolution. Once upon a time, his parents took away his Super Nintendo as a punishment.
