Pune: A 61-year-old woman on Tuesday filed a complaint with the Narayangaon police stating that three men robbed her of gold jewellery worth Rs 1.89 lakh by threatening her with a knife . The robbery happened on Sunday when the woman was grazing cows at her farm in Kaval Pimpri village of Junnar taluka.
The police have registered the case under section 309 (robbery) of the BNS. An officer from the Pune Rural police said according to the complainant, it started raining around 1pm, she took shelter under a tree. Three unknown men came near her.
