The Polestar 3 is now available in showrooms, and the Swedish-Chinese electric vehicle (EV) brand is already shuffling up the lineup of its flagship SUV. Following its unveiling in June , a new rear-wheel drive base variant is joining the Polestar 3 range early next year, providing buyers with greater driving range for a lower price, at the cost of performance. Priced from $118,420 before on-road costs, the Polestar 3 Long Range Single Motor is $14,300 less expensive than the entry dual-motor variant, which has received a $180 price cut for 2025.

The flagship Polestar 3 Long Range Dual Motor with Performance pack is now $2520 more expensive than its equivalent 2024 Launch Edition, and the price difference is even larger when standard equipment omissions are factored in. Polestar has kept order books open for the Launch Edition versions of the Polestar 3, which include its Plus pack – now a $9000 option for 2025 models. There are no other specification differences between the standard 2024 and 2025 Polestar 3 models, apart from what is in stock and when.
