Welcome to my November ranking of the top 64 prospects eligible for the 2025 NHL Draft. This preliminary top 64 (plus 26 honorable mentions for a total of 90 players to watch) is my third of what will be seven 2025 rankings. It follows my way-too-early top 28 and my preseason top 32 , and will be followed by a midseason top 64 (released in January), a March top 64, a post-U18 worlds top 32 (released in May) and my final top 100 (released in June).
Advertisement This class, made up of 2007s and late-2006s, is led by star Boston College freshman center James Hagens, Brampton Steelheads winger Porter Martone, OHL exceptional status Saginaw Spirit center Michael Misa and Erie Otters defenseman Matthew Schaefer. The ranking, packaged in our sortable and customizable user interface, is also broken down into tiers. This list is divided into six tiers: 1, 2-6, 7-14, 15-31, 32-60, 61-64+.
The final cut for this edition of the list was Kamloops Blazers standout forward Nathan Behm, who belongs in the sixth tier. Note that while I consult scouts, coaches, general managers, team staff, and those around these players, the following evaluations and rankings are strictly my own.
