The annual Elvis festival in Porthcawl is a highlight for many people, with thousands attending the event each year. It is now the largest Elvis Festival in the world, bringing £6 million to the local economy. Taking place from Friday, September 27 to Sunday, September 29, 100 Elvis tribute artists performed across 14 venues in Porthcawl to celebrate the festival's 20th anniversary.
With everyone dressed up as Elvis, even the children, it was a great family event for all. The streets were filled with people dressed up in rhinestones and wigs, sunglasses and jumpsuits. Some costumes were works of art and the Elvis's took over the town, even heading to the beach.
