Two upcoming online classes from the Missouri Department of Conservation will provide details on native snakes and archery. Up first is “Snakes of Missouri.” The class will be from 3 to 4 p.

m. Friday, Aug. 23.



Naturalist Rachel Mandi will talk about snakes and their roles in Missouri ecosystems. Registration is required at mdc-event-web.s3licensing.

com . People who are interested in learning more about bow selection and equipment maintenance for use in archery can sign up for the MDC’s virtual program “Learning Archery: Bow Maintenance” on Aug. 29.

This free program will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and is being taught by the staff at MDC’s Andy Dalton Shooting Range and Outdoor Education Center.
