Vadodara: A 19-year-old youth, Keshav Marwadi, was murdered in the Subhasnagar area on Monday. He was stabbed to death during a fight that had broken out in the locality over an old dispute . The Raopura police have booked four men in connection with the murder.
According to Keshav's uncle, Shravan Marwadi, his wife had an extra-marital affair with their neighbour, Mangal Marwadi, over a year and a half ago. The matter was settled mutually. However, Mangal had been making rounds of Shravan's house over the last three days, so the latter called his brother Vijay.
Vijay asked Mangal to leave the place on Monday, so he left. In the evening, Mangal returned with three other men and attacked Shravan's nephew Keshav, and brother Vijay. One of the accused, Shivam Marwadi, then took out a knife and stabbed Keshav in the chest.
He also injured Vijay. Mangal also registered a complaint of assault against Shravan, Vijay, and Keshav, alleging that the trio had picked a fight with him and attacked him with an axe. MSID:: 112660176 413 |.
