Former 16 and Pregnant star Autumn Crittendon has tragically died at the tender age of 27, as her sister reveals she passed away "before anyone could tell you goodbye." In a now-deleted Facebook post captured by Starcasm, her sister Misty mourned Autumn's untimely death. She penned: "To my dearest baby sister, my twin, my rock, my babies mother, my go to, my world , the only one who got me and most of my childhood trauma, who endured it all with me, my Arnold.
" Misty continued: "You were robbed of your life at such a tender age. You left before anyone could tell you goodbye." She added that Amber had sadly passed away before they could express "how much we love you" and how "proud we are of you for staying sober through some of the toughest times of your life.
" While Misty didn't disclose the alleged cause of Autumn's death, she vowed her sister's memory "live on every moment of every day". In a poignant social media post, Misty shares the heartbreaking sequence of events that unfolded leading to her discovering the death of her beloved family member. Arriving at the location packed with emergency vehicles but lacking any trace of Autumn, it was an empty ambulance that signalled her "worst fear had come true", causing her to fall to the ground in overwhelming despair.
Continuing her heart-rending account, she wrote: "I went down the hall to check the rooms to make sure you weren't hiding back there, but they laid empty.. quiet.
. I went where you were last and just stood there in disbelief..
how was my baby sister gone? I was just talking to her. No way this is real life. It's not real.
" Further adding, she said: "Begging God to give you back to us.. I seen the shirt you were wearing and I held it so tight, I smelled it for so long as I just stood there empty, broken, finally allowing myself a moment to fall apart while I knew the kids were okay and I was alone.
I'll hold that shirt close to my heart forever. We are gonna make sure these babies are okay. Your memory will not fade over time.
It will live on every moment of every day." Autumn, who previously featured on MTV's 16 and Pregnant during the reality TV series' fifth season, was dealing with her relationship with Dustin Franklin, the father of her son Drake. She was a high school student in Richmond, Virginia at the time, and she had concerns about Dustin's unemployment and regular marijuana use, questioning his ability to be a good father.
