Vadodara: The death of a baby born to a 16-year-old girl in Dahod district revealed harrowing details of the minor allegedly being raped by her father and another boy who is also underage. The crime came to light after the newborn died a fortnight ago, and her mother reported her sexual exploitation to the Limdi police station in Zalod taluka late on Friday. DR Patel, deputy superintendent of police, said the the girl's father is being interrogated.
Police said the girl had an affair with the boy since Jan and they engaged in a physical relationship. She was 15 years old then. In the complaint, her mother alleged that the girl's father also forced her into a physical relationship.
She said after the baby's death, the final rites were performed as per the traditions. The girl is 16 now. Patel said that the process of conducting medical tests on the girl and others was being conducted.
