A 13-year-old girl was shot Friday night in Norfolk. Norfolk police received a call at about 8:40 p.m.

and responded to the scene at the 1300 block of W. 26th Street. The victim was taken to the hospital to receive treatment for non-life threatening injuries, according to a police spokesperson.



An investigation is ongoing. No further information was available at this time. Those with tips should call the Norfolk Crime Line.
