Prayagraj: Under the concept of ‘ Atithi Devo Bhava ', officials of tourism department on Friday launched soft skills training for e-rickshaw drivers. The tourism department plans to impart training to around 1,000 e-rickshaw drivers. On Friday, a total of 100 e-rickshaw drivers received training with the objective of developing their soft skills and improving their behaviour towards visitors.
These drivers are also being trained in the stories of Maha Kumbh and the greatness of Prayag so that they can also provide information about the tourist places of Prayagraj in an interesting way. Vice President of the Prayagraj e-rickshaw association, Raghunath Dwivedi,said, "The form has been given to e-rickshaw drivers to obtain a training certificate and a QR code for the rickshaw, which they can put on their rickshaws for identification." tnn.
