Palakkad: The Kerala State Road Transport Corporation's (KSRTC) Budget Tourism Cell (BTC) has introduced an exciting range of summer holiday packages, including tours to Vagamon, Kumarakom, and Malayattoor, scheduled for April. From the Palakkad depot, KSRTC has organised trips to Vagamon exclusively in April. The package, a first for the BTC, covers a day in Vagamon followed by a houseboat experience in Kumarakom on the second day.
The tour package also includes meals, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience for travellers. Meanwhile, the trip to Malayattoor originates from Chittur, Vadakkencherry, and Mannarkkad depots. Throughout April, the Palakkad depot will facilitate 22 tours under the BTC initiative.
This includes three trips to Silent Valley on April 3, 17, and 27; multiple journeys to Nelliampathi from April 6, 12, 13, 17, 18, 20, and 27; and two trips to Malakkappara on April 12 and 27. Additionally, there are tours to Alappuzha on April 13, Nefertiti luxury cruise on April 17 and 30, and Nilambur on April 20. All these are one-day trips, except for the Gavi tour, set for April 11, 20, and 26, which spans one day and two nights.
The trips to Wayanad on April 16, Vagamon on April 21, and Munnar on April 26 are two-day, two-night journeys. Travellers can contact for further details. The Chittur depot offers 12 trips, including Nelliampathi on April 6, 13, 20, and 27, and Silent Valley on April 3.
