In a landmark move to enhance global cultural and tourism collaboration, the Petra Development and Tourism Region Authority (PDTRA) has entered into a twinning agreement with the Colosseum Archaeological Park in Rome. This historic agreement aims to foster promotional cooperation between Petra and the Colosseum, both of which were recognized in 2007 as part of the New Seven Wonders of the World.
The partnership focuses on strengthening cultural exchange, tourism promotion, and collaborative marketing efforts, as stated by The Jordan Times.
