There are many huge financial changes coming in the first week of April that households need to be aware of. Among payments that will increase are car tax, water bills and energy bills, while there are also changes to national minimum wage, pension credit and tax credit. There will be additional alterations to the price of stamps, TV licences and broadband bills.

The changes follow the Spring Budget which will take place on Wednesday, March 26.
