The show emphasizes fashion that prioritizes sustainability, featuring designs that repurpose existing fabrics and utilize environmentally friendly textiles and manufacturing processes. Lynda Grose, a professor of sustainable fashion at the California College of the Arts and co-author of Fashion and Sustainability: Design for Change , will share her expertise. Known for her pioneering work in sustainable fashion standards as the designer of Esprit's Ecollection, Grose is a trailblazer in the movement for eco-friendly design. As part of the event, a month-long exhibit at the Greenbrier Valley Visitors Center will explore the process and performance behind sustainable fashion.
