Essex and its bordering areas have different attractions and historic buildings that have a long and varied history that has been carried through to the present. One such spot is a market, now known as one of the most iconic in the area - and is so famous that it was even visited by the Queen over 20 years ago. Romford Market is a historical market that was first opened nearly 800 years ago, and is still thriving in the centre of Romford today.

It is a thriving retail hub, open on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Established in 1247 as a sheep and cattle market, it now offers a diverse array of stalls selling everything from household items to fantastic food. From fashion to fresh fish and seafood, toys to trainers, books to bananas; each day the market brings different traders with something new to discover.
