At this season, our favourite Scandinavian designers showcased all kinds of trends, from sleek workwear-inspired tailoring — not just for work! — to high-octane party dressing and a new take on grunge that would translate seamlessly from skateboard to soirée. But, as is often the case in the Danish capital, the fashion was just as thrilling off the catwalk. Despite the grey skies and blustery winds, show-goers turned up in their fashion best.

There were some familiar favourites spotted on many an editor: , Remain cropped leather and jingling aplenty were all out in full force, alongside some unexpected contenders like pillowy for artic protection and cosy knitted hoods to keep the cold out. Then, there was all the statement outwear: whether it was furry, leather, padded or wool, great coats made dressing in the low degrees look easy, especially when worn with a pair of polished pointed boots, a swathing scarf and black framed sunglasses (no need for sunshine). This season has ushered a resoundingly neutral palette, as beige, brown, khaki green and black, dominated.
