When three city commissioners expressed interest in becoming members of the same committee, two of them settled it the old-fashioned way — with an impromptu and comedic game of rock-paper-scissors. Longtime Commissioner Leesa Unger threw rock to top fellow veteran Commissioner Kelly May’s scissors. But ultimately the outcome of the light-hearted game — which is often considered a fair choosing method between two people — did not affect the committee selections in any way.
