A surprising change of events has happened with the AFC Pro Bowl roster. Two days after falling in devastating fashion in the AFC Championship game, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen has opted out of attending the Pro Bowl this weekend due to a wrist injury. In his absence, New England rookie Drake Maye has been selected to join the roster in representing the AFC according to NFL insider Ari Meirov.

He also rushed 54 times for 421 yards and two touchdowns.
Maye will be the only Patriot competing in the Pro Bowl as no offensive or defensive players from the 4-13 New England roster were initially selected. Special teamer Brendan Schooler dropped out due to surgery.
