His latest creation, the ButterSoft sneaker, embodies his bold creativity and was recently teased on social media. The sneaker features a chunky silhouette and oversized tongue, drawing inspiration from retro classics like the Nike Cortez. Pharrell’s signature style shines through, with design elements that hark back to his earlier footwear ventures.
The ButterSoft sneaker is available in 47 different colourways, some of which incorporate Louis Vuitton’s iconic monogram and others with the brand's "LV" logo on the side. Many models also feature a distinctive brown accent at the toe and heel tab, further tying them to Pharrell’s signature aesthetic. Fans have quickly pointed out that the ButterSoft sneaker shares similarities with Pharrell's past Ice Cream Board Flip sneakers from the 2000s, as well as the Nike Cortez.
